My friend is engaged.
Weird thing? I went out with him (once) less then a year ago.
How is he already engaged?!
....people all around me are getting engaged or married and I can't even get a freaking date on a Saturday night.

Exactly! I mean, don't get me wrong...there are no "gosh, I wish it was me marrying him" feelings on my part. He's a really great guy, but not for me. Which is why I'm happy he found her...they're adorable together and she's a really cool chick. But...damnit...I can't even manage one date. Sorry for the pity party... :(
