This has been a hot topic in General Discussion lately. See thread "Teens and sex". This study cited by HM1 gives young adults many more reasons to observe abstinence. People in the debate generally say this will never happen. No man can foretell the future. There could be an incredible event not too long from now where young people share horror stories and there starts a great time of "awareness and intelligence." And teens start to marry at a young age before they start to have sex.

Thanks Angel, yeah you're right, we were fighting. Now I've calmed down and come to my senses and I still need to explain one more thing: I'll tell you exactly why I got involved in this role playing story with Angel. It was because, about a month ago, not a single person was responding in any positive manner to Angel's posts. After discovering that, I read one of her blogs and it told of a true story where one of her boyfriends committed suicide and did it by carving Angel's real name on his forearm. I felt she desperately needed support and not wanting to leave that up to pure happenstance, I decided to simply help by getting involved with her role playing thread. I had no idea at that time that this form of writing would potentially be such a personal interaction of characters. Well the story has developed and I cannot quit. I have to make personal relationship with Angel's character. I don't think anyone wants me to quit. I just hope others will again come forward from our community and participate in these role playing threads. Thank you.

I was a virgin until the age of 17. After that, I have been monogamous and am now 47. Well I have only had two longterm relationships: One in my early 20's for a couple of years having sex. The other is with my wife of 16 years. We did not have intercourse until we were married. We petted a few time before but not a lot. This way is much better and encourages respect and holds onto higher beliefs.

That is a great observation about all those billions of dollars transpiring under the table. Our country is slowly being taken over by aliens from other countries. And our government sits there and debates endlesslessly about a stupid fence. So take Pen's advice and fix the tax code and fill the loopholes. It's one great solution. And I agree with amnesty! Get everyone on the same page, please and put an end to future illegal immigration. What's done is done.......My suggestion for stopping the flow: Triple the size of the Border Patrol. People are good at catching people; instead of trying to perfect technology that may not be effective for another ten years.

One final note since this is a very impotant topic: Angel made the rules correctly on the Role Play thread. It says you are supposed to pretend to be older or younger. Otherwise this thread would have to be isolated in some forum just for teenagers. Look around there are plenty of adults on this website and Angel is just being inclusive and letting everyone participate. How else could it work, Erica? But please stop all this nonsensical conjecture about non-existent relationships between teenageers and older men. It's plainly revolting.

Hey Erica, leave the poor girl alone about this. You really don't know what you're talking about. What Angel and I are doing in role playing is creating a masterpiece of literature. You are like a censor and trying to prevent freedom of expression for all artists. There is nothing between Angel and I. There never was. If she wants to go a little deeper into her role in private, that's her business and darn healthy if you ask me. She fully understands that these are just characters in a book. Hey Erica, take a look at the category, role playing is in: "Book" Stop being a nervous nellie and calling Angel a drama queen. That is just condemnation. Lighten up Erica. We are not dirty old men. I think that is your imagination on the loose. Go back and read the facts again! Everything is "A" Ok...Dream on!

Oh, and I don't think there is anything wrong with making out in the role play where we haven't even given our ages and are distant cousins. I think it is a responsible thing to do, since I hear story after story of teens having uninhibited sex. We are being role models and showing that it is better to wait until the time is right. Doesn't mean we cannot have some fun while we're at it. Making out is fairly tame I think. I for one would be elated if our youth only kissed and waited for marriage for the rest. Now come on Erica, get real, compare making out with what is really going on nowadays!

My wife knows about the role playing and making out with angel. Sri couldn't resist. She thinks it's very interesting and amusing. After all, how many times does a person get to pretend to be young again and be a student in high school? I did talk with Angel briefly in our private messages, but it was just to introduce myself and reply to a message she sent me. It was strictly business. I can understand your frustration Erica. But you are definitely welcome to come and play and have a role that keeps us honest. Just write yourself in and we'll adjust the story accordingly. The more the merrier! BTW of course, I don't intend to go any further than making out in our story...QHG
