michael jackson
how do you feel about his death? were you a fan? how did you feel about the bizarre things he did and all the legal trouble he got into? who should get custody of his kids?
sorry this is late, but i've been on vacation in italy. i first found out about this when i was taking a train from rome to venice. it was in a newspaper. i've been in a state of shock for the past 8 days. i wasn't a fan (though he was a good performer) and that's mostly because i thought he was a weirdo. it's just hard to wrap my head around. it happened so suddenly and tragically!
just tell me how you feel about this and the other stuff i mentioned. oh yeah, and one last thing: is the media showing too much coverage of the story?

Lets just say that I know a friend that knew a friend that has a friend who work with the friend of a friend who was the friend who took the picture at the mourge!!

When he died I was stunned, I didn't cry or anything but mainly stunned and shocked.
Loved his music what a genius the call him the king of pop I'd almost say he was king of music in general.
His legal trouble I think he was innocent myself but who knows, but as to the bizarre things well all great minds are eccentric its part of the package.
The kids I think should go to who's willing to love them the most who ever that is.
The media are clowns like everything they've gone over the top in my opinion.
And in general I think he was a good person at heart and just wanted to bring joy and happiness to all the children of the world but then the legal crap happened and that ended that.

Yeah, I liked him, thought he was a giant talent in music but HE IS NOT GOD. People need to remember that he was a flawed human being like the rest of us. People are so fickle and fake, they'll jump on any bandwagon and be disrespectful just to get their own faces out there. I feel that while I personally DO NOT worship at the new temple of Michael Jackson, this has become a farce and very insulting to the man these people claim to be fans of. Its most likely these same people who slow down or stop to look at a train or car wreck.

when i heard he died i was surprised especially since farrah died i think on the same day too. i was not a fan at all. no offence to anybody it just wasnt for me. i hated the things he did. i think he shoud of been locked up in the loony bin. i didnt like that the judges and jury always had his back and he didnt go to jail for what he did.also i do think the media is showing too much coverage of his story. i dont see the press talking about farrah. farrah was good and michael jackson well...

like frizzypoo said i guess i do feel bad he died but yeah i wasn't a fan. and also it does seem like he was a good person at heart. for one thing its like all the weird things he did seems really strange to us but it seems kind of like it made sense to him. like what i'm saying is he might be guilty of the stuff he did but he wasn't TRYING to be bad or something. also, you kind of have to take this guy into consideration. first of all, being that famous must be overwhelming. second of all, he was a very sad and lonely person, which probably caused him to do some of the weird things he did. his heart started to break when he was just a child. his dad would beat him and make fun of him. his father would call him ugly and say he had a big nose, so he was insecure about his appearance. this is probably why he got all those surgeries. and maybe he turned white because he grew up in a time period where blacks were under discrimination..... but that doesn't seem like that strong of an arguement, considering other blacks from that time period lived through it. oh yeah and did you know that the kid who said he was molested by michael came out and said his dad made him claim that to get money? i don't know if that's true..... but michael jackson's family DID have strong faith in his innocence. anyway, these are some things i wish i would have known before he died. then maybe i'd have given him some sort of a chance......

oh yeah and the media does show too much coverage but it's not like we're not watching and interested. i know i am. like i just got back from a camping trip with my church and like a lot of the time the kids there were like "i want to see what's happening with the michael jackson story!" "i wish we had a tv! i want to know what's going on at his memorial service!" so yeah.
i think that custody of the kids should go to their grandparents because they are really close to them. like i know debbie rowe is their biological mother and all but they hardly know her and if i were them i think it would be kind of awkward. like maybe she should have some part in their life so they can get to know her so maybe when michael jackson's parents die she can be their permanent guardian then.
