| My This Is It Review |

So, as I'm sure you know by now, the rehearsal footage for Michael Jackson's "This Is It" concert has been turned into a movie. Well I saw it the other day... and I want to give you my review of it. Now even if you don't like Michael Jackson I still think this would be an entertaining movie. Even if you don't like his music, which I don't know who doesn't, the dancing is incredible. And the effects are another thing. There's all kinds of pyrotechnics and for some songs they did little movie bits to go along with them. For "Thriller", they shot some new footage of monsters in graveyards and stuff and it looks really awesome. But what I truly find as the reason you should see this movie is just seeing a side of MJ that nobody really knows about. I mean with all the stuff that happened in his life (i.e. the bizarre, changing appearance, the addiction to drugs, the child molestation rumors, etc.) you really kind of get this image of him just being a weirdo and creep... but in this movie you actually get to see the other side. He was actually a pretty humble person... and he cared so much about the earth and people and he just wanted love in the world. And it's sad because most people overlook that about him. And those are actually the type of people, like my mom says, that you kind of need more of. Also, the movie gave you a sense of how fragile he really was. I do not mean physically fragile... but rather emotionally fragile. I mean the people there that worked with him were treating him kind of like a small child. But I mean, you have to feel kind of bad, because I mean.... well all the crap he's been through.... it's just sad. I think from watching this movie, I've gotten more respect towards him. I mean I'm not going to lie... I still think he's kinda weird.... but I've been shown the other side. And you know there's actually quite a lot of history behind his strange actions (you don't really it out in the movie though, I've just heard a lot on the news and stuff) and a lot of it is pretty sad.... so you have to take things like that into consideration too. Anyway, back to the movie. Yes... a very good movie to see. Emotional at parts (like at the end and during the "Heal the World" segment)... but also very exciting. It's like you were at a real concert... only an awesomeer one than usual. I mean this guy was talented! And he was so dedicated to what he did and he loved it. The movie really makes you feel bad that he died (especially listening to his new song "This Is It").... except, of course, you'd think that AFTER the movie, because the whole time during the movie, MJ was alive and right there on stage in front of you... or so it seemed....
