Autumn winds chill me to the bone as I sit beside my babbling brook and dream. I am alone with my thoughts today and yet, I am not, as your reflection shines within my mind.
My mind is replete with euphoric thoughts of strolling along that moon lit mountain path, hands clasped and gentle laughter filling the cool night sky.
The night we sat upon that rock(our rock we joked) overlooking the glorious view of the valley far below. We talked, we laughed, and we wished upon the falling stars as they fell, silently from the heavens.
It was on that rock we pledged our love. "I will love you till the end of time", I pledged, and you replied in kind as we took each others innocence that night.
I dream that dream my love each night and every waking day. Even Though we are separated by times distance, I know that once again we will be upon that mountain, on our rock, and once again we shall revisit those vows.
I am leaving my brook now my love but realize that no matter where I go or what ever I shall do, I will carry those thoughts of your love forever in my heart.
