I don't know that I want my SO to be quite as close to me as my best friend, because that can make the relationship seem almost sibling-like in nature, which really puts a damper on romance and sex. I mean, I don't want to be passionately kissing my sister on the mouth, but if I had a sweetheart, I should want to kiss her that way.
