Missing man found ... in jail

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police had good news and bad news Thursday for family members worried about the whereabouts of Earl Terrell Tisdale.
Tisdale is safe, which was a relief to the family.
But he is in jail.
Police issued a missing person report on Tisdale on June 23, after family members said they hadn't seen or heard from him since June 17. Tisdale had moved from New York to Charlotte, to finish high school.
But he apparently encountered trouble. Police said they located him Thursday. He was in jail, using a fake name, police say. Authorities did not say why Tisdale was jailed, or what name he was using.
