| BEING A PIONEER |
|
Hello Everyone,
It's been a long weekend. I promised to e-mail from Florida but the time got past me. I loaded the computer once. To give it to another person to use. I was busy eating fried fish (Talapea fish...the size of your forearm) with rice and beans, cabbage and salad. DELICIOUS! I was walking through the warm winds under the palm trees at the outlet just looking around. It's beautiful, but I don't think I could live there. The hurricanes are hard to escape. Everything is DISNEY, DISNEY, DISNEY.
I bought a new laptop computer so you will be seeing some teaching videos very soon. This is great. So I can communicate almost in person via the blog. I'm experimenting with it now so keep watching!
My daughter called me today all upset because her audition at the school didn't go well. She auditioned for "GREASE". She had to read script, sing and dance. She got cut in the 1st round. I told her she has to keep trying. Every role is not going to be for her. SHE DEFINITELY CAN'T SING! And GREASE is a musical.
My son has been calm lately..working, bringing home money, and opening his own account. I hope my days of dealing with the police are over with. We have been through something as mother and son. Raising a boy is a challenge. They have alot of pressure ON THE INSIDE AND ON THE OUTSIDE. Inwardly he was trying to grow up while feeling empty and abandoned. On the outside girls and buddies were on his brain and he couldn't seem to get a job for nothing. He was so frustrated. And to top it off, mom was having a hard time too. It was rough for him. It was rough for both of us. God has really turned our family around in 2 years.
Since 2008 came in, I am experiencing a great annointing to deal with pressure, financial strain, and an overwhelming favor. The laptop cost $949.00. I got it on sale $779. with an additional $80. off. I paid $699. The clerk just walked up to me and asked me, "Would you like more money off the price"? I said, "Sure would." I also was supposed to have a copay of $150. for new glasses. The lady said "I'm the manager. You don't have to pay $150. You pay $107. (This is for a more expensive pair of glasses). Everything is happening very quickly now.
I encourage all you reading this. If you are not experiencing the favor of God or feel stagnated I can give you some good advice.....
IN ORDER TO GET SOMETHING YOU'VE NEVER HAD, YOU'VE GOT TO DO SOMETHING YOU'VE NEVER DONE. That's the basic principle of sewing and reaping. If you plant supernatural leaps of faith, your harvest will be a SUPERNATURAL, SURPRISING HARVEST. If you DON'T PLANT LEAPS OF FAITH, NEVER TAKE A CHANCE ON ANYTHING, than year after year, day after day, your experiences with the Lord will be boring and same old.
I had to completely abandon my comfort zone to experience this level of provision. I had to move 800 miles from my hometown, live in an unfamiliar neighborhood, get to know strangers, work at a unknown company, connect with new people in ministry, and venture out to seek new opportunities for ministry. Many of you are PIONEERS. YOU WILL BE THE 1ST TO DO MANY THINGS IN YOUR FAMILIES AND COMMUNITIES. There is no guide. There is no map. There's only you and your faith in God. He has the map. He'll show bits and pieces as he sees fit. Everything is strange to me. The territory is new, but I have security in knowing that my not knowing pleases God.
All the pioneers, make sure you stay connected to this ministry. Our task is not one of ease, but we are able. Do you hear me? We are able. We will be abandoned, rejected, called crazy, spurned and discredited. People will not understand us. But that's not our focus. Our focus is on being one of the few that fulfill God's will in our lives totally and completely. So our grandchildren can reap the benefit.
Be encouraged my sisters.
