My heart

Is a casket

Many secrets does it hold

Wrapped up in life

It silently enfolds

These thoughts

Are quite private

To me

And me alone

Like scriptures on Sunday

Writ clear in the stone

Only He can share my reflections

For He is all I can trust

I meander through problems

And He makes them to dust

Safe keeping they are concealed

Kept under padlock and key

Uncovered only occasionally

But tied securely within me
