| I agree with so much of wht yo observe and say... It's as harsh out there as it ever was I believe. There is a turning tide in America but it hasn't turned fully yet.., we are in flux. But there is a core of people who still do the right things, still stand up for whats wrong and terribly unfair. Still care about themselves and others... you and me? we were raised decently, so many just have never seen or experienced decent. I don't take that as a rational excuse. Because any body who wants to can change it's requires effort though so I guess, it's not attractive enough. |

I wish I were your age Plakola, what I couldn't do! Sweetie, what would you do to change things if you could? Really, I am asking, what do you think would make a difference in schools?
I am amazed that people are allowed to leave school without a means to make a living. The 'carrot' of college is not for everyone. We all have to...
1.eat
2.pay rent
3.pay utilities
4.clothe, transport, and educate, entertain, sustain, ourselves.
NONE of which is taught in high school, rich or poor.

| I agree with you. The world is so totally messed up. People don't care about themselves or anyone else. I wish I knew the answer. |
