Well, as a very happily married woman, I have to disagree with the part about guys being disgusting and controlling. I got a super funny, clean-living, thoughtful guy and I'm really lucky, because I know not every guy is like that-- in fact, most aren't.
I will say one thing-- the Bible doesn't teach women to be slaves. In fact, when the Christianity entered most pagan ancient societies, it actually freed Christian women from being despised and lifted them up to a new high standing. God says that men and women are equal in His sight. But since there can't be two bosses of a family, the guy gets the final word on things. It makes logical sense when it's done right. The problem is, we humans always mess things up and then blame God for the mess. :) |

Plakola, it is not true at all that today's women just for breeding, sit at home and to be pushed around by men. Most women today live side by side with their husband. Women also earn money, have a good job and many even earn more than the husband. What men do in any proffesion, women can do it too. Many modern husbands help in keeping the house tidy and looking after the kids. What more equal do you want? Do you wish that men can get pregnant too? It will be good if they can. Ha...
When I was your age I also felt that men are yucky... until I meet the one I fell in love with. In other words, normally women are not just attracted to any man or all men. Love plays an important part.
About God. I notice those who still believe in God, live happier and more content. It is because they have hope to cling to. A guidance to show what is right and what is wrong, and also to show the way so we won't be lost in this turbulant life.
