 Feeling the recession
So I have always been working but today i went to work like always happy to see my babies(the children i care for) and the wife told me she needed to speak with me. She informed me that because of economic issues, she was laid off and therefore I will be losing my job also.I started to cry because I love my job...I love kids,Im a nanny and Ive been with this family since the little one was in her belly before she was even conceived and now I have lost my job. There's not that many places that are hiring here and I have a little money saved but not enough.I DONT KNOW WHAT IM GONNA DO.

The one thing you must realize is that education is a business that is somewhat recession proof. I understand you enjoyed your job and the children you worked with. You've to understand everyone is going through real tough times and it's important we remain optimistic particularly when the situation can make us feel like there is no hope!

I know for a fact, you'll find another job with young children where you can make a difference and create that love you still have for your job.
