Sometimes I am completely locked out
of every thought, conversation, life.
Sometimes I am completely put down, let down,
and disapointed.
But I will always smile.
Not for them, not for you, but just for me.
Because I am my only friend.
You can hurt me, break me, damage me,
and I will always treat you like gold.
Because as my only friend, I know that
making others happy is my only true way to
my own self-happiness.
So go ahead, and do things to me that you know
I would NEVER do to you.
And that’s just more proof that,
I am the only person I can rely on
in this world. |

Ok i stand corrected, you have put a new blog up :p
If making others happy makes you happy then you have a wonderful soul. But the people you go out your way for need to deserve your time before you give it to them. Someone that hurts you isnt worth your effort.

I feel everyone is worth the effort. I will always forgive people, and I will always give them as many chances as they need to see that I do REALLY care about them.
People are amazing and complicated.

Forgiving people once or twice is fine. Good on you for being able to forgive! But if you forgive everyone for anything nd everything then they wont think wow she cares about me so im gunna stop hurting her. They will think Whahey! I can trample all over her and get away with it! Haha she will forgive me no matter what! Bring on the abuse!
Can you see how it works?
Only you can break the cycle of abuse. All you have to do is say: look i care about you alot but i wnt accept the way you treat me just because of that reason.
If its actual physical beatings (and i pray to god it isnt) then all you have to do is tell the police.

I wish i was as selfless as you.The world would be a better place if people were more like you.Too bad many of them aren't...i'm not either and i can't help it.But it's life.And life is to learn.
