You make a fire.
What an accomplishment.
Cherish the fire,
its yours,
its amazing.
Build walls around it,
hide it from others.
They can never know the power
of the fire.
They peak through the windows,
hoping to get a glimpse,
but you quickly block any
opening.
Sit with your fire,
let it burn and grow.
Be careful, your tears put the fire out.
And you've already cried so much,
its dimmed.
The fire gives you opportunities,
but you throw them in the fire,
just like you've thrown so many other things
away.
One day the walls will fall,
and you'll be panicked,
but people will love the fire,
just like you do,
and maybe one day
it'll be so big
it will light up the whole world.
