Before I knew,
I thought that love was an unfair thing.
Unfair how you make me feel the way you do.
Unfair how you make my heart jerk in all directions.
Then I learned that we are only
humans.
Puzzles put together by bones and skin.
Brains put together by blood and emotions.
We dont control how we feel.
We are helpless, useless, needy.
If I could stop, I would.
But every word,
everytime you make me feel
important,
brings me back to where I was before;
helpless, useless, needy.
I am not human.
Dont you make me think I am.
