I would like to ride a zebra, lol. I love riding horses, it's fun! Are you sure Australians ride kangaroos? I think that kangaroo would kick them or something before they had the chance to. I dont think I'd like to ride one. I got spit on by a camel once....I hate camels..lol. xoxo

probz cuz they're endangered and too pretty to ride. or the thought never occured to anyone. i would like to ride a llama, but they're not strong enough. Tear.

I think it might be cause they can kick like a mule,bite like a alligator and have the attitude of a chahuahua.

1) Zebras are ill tempered much like a mule or donkey.
2) They bite and kick and are poorly domesticated.
3) I guess they taste better than they ride, please pass the gravy.
4) Maybe the African's with access to the zebra didn't have access to rope and metal for simple halters.

The Indians of the Americas obtained ponies from the Spanish and their 1st encounter was to ride.

5)Perhaps the evolutionarly method of aquiring the horse as a mount is by way of the plow 1st and as few African tribes outside of Ethiopia and Egypt were noted for farming it might just never have occurred to them to ride a Zebra.
6)It may be that the landscape or predatory enviroment in the savanna made riding more hazardous than it was worth.

I never even saw a monkey ride a Kangaroo and I've been to alot of state fair side shows... so I call BullPux on Aussies mounting Kangaroos in any fashion beyond the carnal. It's cool to see a monkey ride a dog one of the best dollars I ever spent. hehe
