| My First Blog, 2008 was one mental year!!! |
ok..... my first blog. i thought i would start off with a good january style thing, of reviewing my year! this will give me a good background story for the blogs i make this year i think. i had one hell of a year last year, honestly, looking back i dunno how the hell i got through that like! however, this is a summary of what it was like:
january 08 - began the year on a hellish note, i had a miscarriage, i started bleeding xmas day, and finally found out id miscarried just into the new year. this was my 2nd miscarriage, i had one several years ago. i am blessed with a beautiful daughter though, who was born in 2006 so for that i am grateful. my partner at this time and i were not getting along, and on the 18th of january we split up. this was obviously a very difficult time!
february - my daughters father finally moved out, i began seeing someone which was refreshing but most likely silly timing!
march - my daughter turned 2, her father started seeing her at weekends after a month of not coming round. arguments followed, etc etc.
april - i carried on in my new life, trying to make ends meet and finally having a social life!
may - i sat and passed my HNC in admin and IT with an A grade pass, no idea how!!!
june - i ran the race for life and raised £100 for cancer research, i finished college and had a major panic over money! thought i was going to lose my home and everything
july - i turned 26, yikes! i began seeing someone, and had a fast whirlwind summer romance! was great to begin with...
august - romance still fun, but he began irritating me, lol. my usual story really, more fights with my daughters dad occurred on a regular basis and finances were horrendous
september - what a month! my dad was dianosed with colon cancer, i split up with the guy i was seeing, i started on my HND and had a brief encounter with a guy who turned out be a complete muppet, and immature as hell. that didnt last long! my dads condition worsened, he ended up going in to have a 10 inch tumour removed without anasthetic, and being very very ill. they then found out three of his lymph nodes tested positive for cancer also, so he was set to begin chemo. my head around this time was all over the place! i also got a new tattoo on the back of my neck!
october - my dad began his chemo, and i decided staying single was best of all..... untill i found a sexy guy i thought id flirt with, lol, we then had a date on a beach in the cold, eating ice cream and realised we got on really well.
november - things progress with my new man, refreshingly treats me like a princess and makes me happy. of course when my daughters dad finds out this all kicks off again....
december - more fights with the ex..... but then it seems to settle down. i get taken to see the prodigy which was amazing!!! and xmas was great. finally some happiness in my year!
so that was 2008....
2009 began with a surprise trip to newcastle from my amazing boyfriend! i used to live there and loved it, we had a great night out and fell even more in love with eachother! and so january continues........
