For the past few days my two kittens have been on all sorts of adventures. I started thinking how funny the world must look through their eyes. Well here goes
Thursday 1st November
P – Ahhhh, I’m locked in! Woke up today to find the comforting hidey-hole I had found last night to be locked from the outside. What will I do…I know I will go back to sleep.
How rude; I was in the middle of a nice sleep when the hidey-hole was unlocked and I got chased out. I took a nice stroll through the fields, during which time I chased a few pesky mice, back home. Mum and dad were so happy to see me. A bit odd considering I had been doing nothing all day. Got loads of cuddles tonight, which was awesome…I think Nutmeg is Jealous.
N – I am freezing this morning. Pep and me were playing a game of running away from Dad and he seemed tired and cranky and the bugger locked us out. Only been let in this morning…they must have overslept.
Been getting loads of cuddles and playtime all day but as soon as Pep got home they stopped. Was not very impressed. I told him not to fall asleep in that Hidey-hole but he didn’t listen. Mum was crying all day when he didn’t come home, I tried to tell her it was OK but she never seems to understand me. I will speak louder next time.
Friday 2nd November
P – We got to spend the night on the bed last night, what a very pleasant surprise. It is so warm and fluffy. The only problem is that if we are not careful Daddy moves all the time and sometimes he tends to roll over and squash Nutmeg or me. It was Nutmeg last night…ha ha ha!
Another boring day today, I wish they wouldn’t leave us alone all day without any means of getting out. That pest from next-door keeps strutting around the garden thinking he owns the place. One of these days we will get out and teach him a lesson.
N – What should have been a nice surprise last night was not the nicest experience, as I almost became a flat cat when that fat lummox rolled over straight on top of me. I will plot my revenge and get him back in the next few days.
Pepper is in the middle of fighting next doors cat. I keep telling him to chill out and relax but I swear he thinks by staring at the window it will open for him. Also the cat next door is not even aloud out at night so obviously we are the hardest cats on the block.
Saturday 3rd November
P – Back to normal I see, being trapped out of the bedroom and being forced to sleep on the cold dark landing. Those pesky hamsters make so much noise. Not to worry though I think my pulling at the carpet is annoying Mum and Dad and it wont be long before we are let in for good. It better be soon because head butting the door isn’t doing my brain too good.
Dad seemed happy again today but Mum doesn’t seem too pleased. Must be something to do with a game called football. I don’t see what all the fuss is about. At least it is better than that screeching Mum watches once she wakes up.
N – Pepper was back trying to give himself permanent brain damage this morning trying to gain access to the bedroom. He is so stupid already though so I don’t think it matters. He has got nothing to worry about though as he was in the comfy basket in the bathroom at bedtime tonight whereas I was only on the landing. That was until I farted though…that shifted him. Ha ha ha.
I try to understand but I do not know what excitement comes from football. All I know is Dad gets too excited with it all and Mum sleeps when it is on. That is unless you can see the players then she gets too over excited. I think I will be a Leceister City fan. I have always fancied being a fox. Dad is funny when Saturday night arrives. He sings much better than those people on telly and me and Pepper love to imitate him afterwards. We are the only ones who can reach his high screeches.
Sunday 4th November
P – After all the horrible screaming and screeching coming from the telly last night it was nice to have a bit of peace and quiet. I felt like I was on holiday today. I got a chance to sun bathe and I think I caught the sun which is nice. Nutmeg thinks I am silly and that I shouldn’t sun bathe without sun cream on. Mum and Dad were out without it on though so I should be OK.
Nutmeg says I have to be a football fan so I decided to follow whichever team won today. Unfortunately it was a draw, however because Mum tells me that everyone who lives in Ipswich smells I think I will choose Norwich City. I think they are doing rubbish but I am sure my cheering will help them.
N – Pep is a silly cat. I keep warning him of the dangers of sunbathing unprotected but he never listens to me. He has decided to become a Norwich City fan. I will wind him up when we beat them in the league. He He. Hey this football thing is very Catchy.
They wouldn’t let me out again tonight. There is a lot of banging and smoke outside and I think this may have something to do with it. I don’t think there is anything to worry about though because I was outside for ages watching the pretty colours yesterday and I was ok. There were some loud bangs that scared me though so I suppose Mummy is correct.
