Climate change

As per usual, I'm spending my Sunday thinking about pretty much anything that stroles into my mind.
The subject today seems to be largely global warming and climate change.

It strikes me that the families and people who still, after all the documentaries, statistics etc, refuse to recycle and cut back their energy intake, are quite possibly the most selfish people on this planet.
Is asking someone to put potato peelings in a compost bin at the end of their garden to much work?
Is requesting to switch off unused electrical items at the plug socket to much effort?
Is putting glass bottles, tin cans, cardboard etc. into another dustbin hard?
Driving 3 minutes round the corner, is it needed?

Small changes add up to big changes, as long as everyone cooperates.

Its the future we're trying to save.
I don't see why somepeople seem incapable of understanding it.

(Rememberance day - my family and i watched the happenings in London. It reminds me yet again of the flaws in this planet. Seeing the nation unite (wether it be in poppy-wearing or attending an event) it remains yet another reason to improve our childrens future.)

I believe the the biggest problem is that so many people just don't believe it will happen in their life time so whats the worry. I'm worried about my children and their Childrens world.
