Because I was a way this weekend, I missed all the hype behind the latest addition to the city of Richmond. Infuzions Lounge located at Roseneath and Clay has opened an ICE BAR. It is the first of it's kind in the US. I think some one mentioned the concept came from a club in Canada. From what I hear everything in the room is made of ice. Everything down to the glasses. They give you these special parkas to put on as you enter. You also get your picture taken while you are in there. In addition to the cover charge you pay to get into the club there is an additional $15 to enter this portion of the club. I have to admit it is difinitely something different. I am not one for cold temperature, from what I hear it is below 30 in there, but I would like to experience it at least once. A few of my friends and I share June birthdays so I figured this something we could do different this year for the birthday celebrations. I  mean this is clearly one of those things that is a one time thing. Unless you have people that love cold environments. But after the first time my thinking is that the newest would be gone. But I could be wrong. All in all I am glad to see something different in the city. I hope they have a good run. 

This goes back to my first post for today... CHANGE... This is clearly a change in the types of clubs that are already in the Richmond area.
