 Ladies Unite!
I find it exceedingly frustrating that so many women feel they do not need to flaunt their femininity. In my opinion (which, of course, is not everyone's) women should still be wearing dresses, hats, and gloves no matter where they might be going. I will certainly confess that I myself find it very inconvenient to work in a dress and heels. But there is no excuse not to wear them to a nice dinner with my husband. I am very aware that for a twenty-four year old many of my views are a bit old fashioned. I am however very empowered in my old-fashioned womanhood. It is a statement to walk through a local shopping district looking like every boys' June Cleaver wet dream. Certainly I recieve more looks than most of the under dressed little tartlets who can barely seem to cover their thighs. We should be making statements with our clothing ladies! And those statements  should not be, "Only three inches to the goods." So ladies, dust off your grandmothers' lovely old hats, pull out her handbags, and for God's sake, learn to use a hankie!

Ok I am not sure I would want to walk around in a hat with a hankie. But the things girls wear.... they might as well wear a sign saying RAPE ME!!!! Being a tomboy I prefer pants and a t-shirt.

First of all, I teach preschool so wearing all that would not be ok and second I am 27 and I would never be caught in a dress unless I was at a wedding or a funeral. I am not the type to show off my "goods" as you put it, but I also like the fact that I can be comfy. Not all twenty-something year olds dress like they can't wait to be raped!

I think you have a point. At least, women should cover up some of their goods. I think it would be a nice change for women to look classy again.
