people aren't BORN evil or good. Its the environment that they grow up in and what they're surroundings are when they're first setting things in stone inside their minds and brains and such.

I tend to believe that at the heart of everyone is goodness that needs to be drawn out and that the evil in us is just a manifestation of hurts that need healing.

I've heard it said that we're all sort of born with a sinful nature. I think this just means that sometimes we fall prey to bad things that happen to us, we're victims of circumstance, which corrupts our actions. But we're not really bad people. We all just need love and to act in love, and if we don't, things don't go the way they were meant to go, and evil gets in.

what you might call good someone else might call bad, and vice versa, No i dont think people are born evil or good to begin with because in the end evil and good doesnt eixist in the first place. With that being said, in our sense of good and evil i would have to be agree with the first commenter, "monkey see monkey do", its our surroundings which influence are behavoirs.

I don't think people are born to be good or bad. I think the position they may be in (like a rough neighborhood growing up) may constitutes good or bad behavior. I was not really raised in a bad "hood," however, I had a lot of gang friends. Thought I never participated in "initiations" or fights, we respected eachother. I think we are persuaded by evil by the desires and the things they may carry (illegal money and power), but in the end, good always wins. Just ask the Bible. :-)
