Being on stage, having all your fans chanting your ltrics, lighters in the air, majestic fog from he night befores' rain, hands waving slowly back and forth, exchanging glances and a smile with your guitarist. you both know that this is it. this is what we were meant to do. this was our life.
that is true happiness

happiness is being able to appreciate the smaller things in life no matter what your situation. whether it be as simple as watching the leaves on trees dance in the wind, a beautiful moon floating in the sky or a tasty sandwich made just the way you like it. happiness can be the look in your lover's eyes knowing you are understood without words or questions, watching your children grow into well balanced people, or spending time with friends who make you laugh and think. happiness is about how you perceive the world around you and is unique to every individual, yet at times can seem as fleeting and elusive as a falling star.
