Hello...thank you for taking to time to view a day in the life of ME!

Today was a day of reflection, family and hard work. I woke up this morning and I selfishly did not take a minute to thank God for yet another day. I am thanking him now because I do not want him to think that I take life for granted, which we all tend to do sometimes.

My cat Ginger scurried from underneath the bed, as she always does, when I woke up this morning. She followed me to the toilet, then to the sink and back to bed. We didn't go back to sleep when we got back in the bed. Instead, we layed there and I rubbed her as she snuggled up with me for about a half hour until it was time to get dressed and run off to dinner at my sister Laurie's house.

Dinner was great! My sister Laurie and my bro-in-law Martell cooked Ham, Dressing with a turkey leg, beans, peas, mac and cheese, and potato salad. The sweet potato pie was baked compliments of Ms. Chubby the master cooker whom we call "Mom". I only ate one plate because I am on a mission to get my sexy SUPASTAR look in order by next year so I can start booking shows and proudly promoting my music! I sat down after dinner and answered some emails and some messages that were sent to my Myspace account.

Today I talked to my Mom and told her that I wished I could have spent Thanksgiving with her and Dad this year. I am going to try really hard to get home next month or January to spend some time with them. They are my loves and I adore and miss them so much. I also received calls from my cousins Matthew Junior and his son, my producer, "T-Fresh" from Chi town. They called to wish me a great day and T asked how I was coming along on the CD. I shared with him my thoughts on the song "Get it right" and gave him the expected completion date. He said that he can't wait to hear it and quite frankly, neither can I. It's gonna be the BOMB!!!!! I will start recording next month in the B.Creative Studios, with "The Bar-Kays" guitar legend, engineer and producer, Mr. Barry Wilkins.

After listening to some hot Hip Hop tunes and making my nephew Sed a CD, I realize that NOW it's time for me to get MY music together. I'm working on "Get it Right" today because I want to have it recorded and finished by the end of the year.

WHAT IS MUSIC TO ME?
Music is like the LOVE I've never known. To be able to embrace something and have it embrace me right back without any conditions or objections, makes me feel good! It's something I can't live without and without it, I would be forced to face a cold cruel world alone in a state of confussion. Hmm...nice song title! :-)
