A sell out crowd of 4000 people packed Perth Zoo last night to see 70s heartthrob Bryan Ferry perform under the stars.
The former Roxy Music front man did not disappoint audiences who had been warmed up by Aussie star Darryl Braithwaite and British diva Joan Armatrading.
Ferry entered the stage wearing a sparkly black jacket reminiscent of his past arty glam-rock days with Roxy Music.
He played a collection of songs from his 30-year music catalogue including The In Crowd, Kiss and Tell and his 1976 mega hit Let’s Stick Together.
Ferry also performed his rendition of the Bob Dylan classics Knocking on Heaven’s Door and A Hard Rain’s A-Gonna Fall, complete with a harmonica solo.
Ferry, Armatrading and Braithwaite will perform their second show tonight at Perth Zoo.
