For I will burn down anything that will try to alter the essence of my being
I have the ability to change the form of things
I can warm you up like water
And protect you from the cold

Allow yourself freedom from rigidity
While maintaining your basic form
A flame as bright as the heavens
I was born pure
I was when they attempted to use my purpose for their own aims
That I was given the label as destroyer

Some saw me as good
They saw my potential
I gave them light
I prevented disease
I warmed their hearts
They thought I was a symbol of light,
Then a tool of dark powers
