Men’s Swimming
The men’s swim team will participate in the 2008 NCAA championship on Thursday with five representatives. The top eight will be recognized as all American finishers.
Track
LSU’s track program is starting with a bang this year. Only two weeks in the outdoor track the Lady Tigers are ranked No. 1 and the Tigers are ranked No. 2. Junior Trindon Holliday currently holds LSU’s fastest 100 meters with a time of 10.02.
Women’s Golf
The No. 19 Women’s golf team came away with ninth place in the Georgia Tournament on Sunday. The Lady Tigers will be participating in the SEC championship tournament starting next month
Tennis
The men’s tennis team defeated No. 17 ranked Rice Tuesday. This boosted the Tigers rankings to No. 19 in the U.S.
The Lady Tigers pulled a victory over Colorado tonight and is currently ranked No. 27 in the U.S.
Baseball
The baseball team defeated Northwestern on Tuesday but lost to the UNO Privateers on Wednesday, bringing their record to 15-8. The Privateers halted the Tigers 10 game winning streak leaving them unranked.
