become very good at predicting what schemes the Democrats are
planning to do next. The Demorats have "their media" lay the ground work before something happens, like the terribly dangerous diet Rush is/was on so when he goes belly up, they can convince the public it was an total accident and don't blame us, heck, we tried to warn him.
Just today I was listening to Rush talk about the talk shows commenting on his diet being "really dangerous". Well, well, well, why would they worry about this or even bring this up? If they were trying to discredit his diet they could have used a more effective angle, but oh no, they were saying it is "really dangerous".
My prediction is that the Democrats are mad at Rush for stopping the health care bill and are now trying to take "El Rushbo" out so they can get their ridiculious agenda passed through Congress without any of his harassment.
They also regulated or oversaw (but really ran) the mortgage industry (Fanny Mae and Freddie Mac) and they put the real estate industry in the trash heep and then blamed those "greedy bankers" and wall street brokers.

I think the Democrats and banks are working together (althought the banks probably don't have the slightest idea they 're being duped) to nationalize all the big banks. If you look at the sequence of events then the big picture becomes more and more apparent. First the great "community organizers", Obama and his horde of lawyers, goes after any bank that won't loan money to anyone of color who couldn't ordinarily ever qualify for any large loan and can't possibly pay extravagant mortages (or any mortage for that matter) calling them racists and forcing them to make the loans or go to court. Then when the banks go to the Congress for help they are told not to worry about the defaults because Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac will cover for them.
The next step is to get the banks to go to the people who are regularly making their payments and talk them into changing their fixed mortage rates into a cheaper but more risky adjustable rate. Then "presto chango" the Feds raise the interest rate causing the adjustable rates to sky-rocket which in turn makes it harder (maybe impossible) for even more people to make their payments and so they lose their homes. This causes a massive glut of available houses on the market which naturally causes the value of everyone else's home to decline dramaticly. Some of these houses being paid for are now not worth the money people still owe on them and so they start purposely defaulting on their loans which advances a further collapse in home value.
Now let's add to all of this Barney Frank, chairman of the House banking committee, and Chris Dodd, chairman of the Senate baning committee, completely ignoring warnings by experts of the on-coming bankruptcy of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. Don't get me wrong, I am fully aware that Barney and Chris are stupid but surely not that stupid. The predictable collapse occurs and then the federal government, who caused this problem in the first place, comes to the country's rescue saying, "don't worry, we will take over the banks". Well, go figure. MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!

I've got a complaint about the thoughts staff who police these blogs. I am basically talking about political blogs that tilt toward the right. They are being attacked by boggers who are payed by Obama's staff (this can be confirmed by many former Hillary workers who after she was defeated joined Obama's staff only to then be assigned to this task) to prowl the various web sites looking for right wing posts and then slander every right wing politician (and there aren't many left) and when you respond by taking up for them by calling these "drive-by bloggers" liars and morons (which they are) then they run to the Thoughts staff and complain about it. The right wing blogger is then chastised or reduced stars for their behavior.
I'm all for the staff policing the site but at least give the bloggers who have been with this site for a fairly long period of time the benefit of the doubt and not some johnnie-come-lately whose only contribution to this site from his original sign-up date (which is usually that day) is his one trouble-making comment on someone else's post.
I think this is totally unprofessional. I know this post I'm making now is also unprofessional because I should have contacted the thoughts' staff privately. Well, I didn't because when this happened to me I was reprimanded not having the opportunity to explain my comments or come face to face with my accusers. Oh, and by the way, those bloggers (I say bloggers but they are not because they only made a few comments and no post) are now gone.
