Our poems become statues from chiseled stone,
Chipped until beauty has been bonded to tone,
While essays might be considered huge blocks,
Now cut and polished but once just big rocks.

What happens to those forgotten Dreams?
They seep back in thru cracks and seams.
That's what happens to a forgotten dream -
It still stays around but is never seen.
