| The Battle Has Been Fought |
What once, to me, had been so much
Has dropped to something less
While in it's place, I cling and clutch
To what provides no stress
I want so much, but it's unclear
I fight this to the death
And as I shed this single tear
I take this single breath
Arguements presented now
They drain me to no end
These people they just tell me how
But nothing do they mend
So really now, it's up to me
I must not grab and grip
But sit me down and try to see
The problems sip by sip
The beauty of my lovely noise
It's nothing more than that
The wonder of these lovely toys
Makes my brain quite fat
But the problems that these do create
Hurt me more and more
It helps me see my current fate
And makes my mind quite sore
This strange adoration, it is quite new
But something I just love
We argue here, do speeches too
It's placed itself above
Drama is not here at all
Neither is my hate
I carry myself, so proud and tall
And never do I wait
Arguing has become the thing
I really think it's true
As much I would love to sing
I must embrace the new
