And so it starts...
This is my first blog and I'm not sure what to do, so I guess I just chat on!
Well my day started when I found out Direct Line had taken over £550 out of my account instead of £54. I had a slight panic because I thought I was in the money. Didn't see the minus sign did I!?Anyway they say they are refunding it but I wasn't impressed and complained to my bank that they let it happen. Apparantly if you have a Direct Debit they can just go in and take your money without the bank doing anything, even if it's obviously a cock-up. That's a bit Orwellian!
My friend is distraught. She got her Dissertation back and got 50. I really didn't know what to say because I didn't want to be one of those annoying people who say everything's going to be alright and it's not the end of the world. What do they know they aren't in your situation!? So I wrote her a list of everything I love about her and ten things she could do without a 2:1. She has just moved into a Hot Fuzz style village where her family had to pass tests to get in and they have an annual duck race and scarecrow making competition. I told her she could gain a farmer accent and spend her time making said scarecrows. She started crying. But she said it was because the reasons why I love her were nice...I'm not too sure :-s
Anyway I'm off to bed to read Chronicle of a Death Foretold...I didn't get much sleep last night. I was woken up by people coming back from a night out and by the time I started to drift off again I thought it was 3am. That was until one of them announced the bird were singing...it was 5am!I've just turned 21. I'm getting too old for this!xxxx

It sounds like you miss college. I'm glad I went through it though so in the end it will all be worth it.

I have no idea what the financial matters were about. Darn Manchester lingo:P But, I got giddy seeing "Hot Fuzz village". That was a nice village:P But, crazy people there. Despite what others say, I think it was one of the best movies of last year.

Sorry I'm a journalist I should know better! But when I don't have to be "this is the news" I do tend to let my Northern messiness take over!Hot Fuzz was fantastic, for some reason I found the bit when he was impaled on the mini church hilarious!?I think because everyone carried on as if it was normal. And yup going to miss uni but I'll be glad to finally have money!Hopefully... ps- why has thoughts.com flagged my blog as explicit content...there isn't any!?

You used the word COCK...Red flag:P It's just a very clean-sweeping language buffer. So, to avoid it, dont make another cock-up:P Make a mistake or error:P I cant remember what part I liked best other than the big shoot out when Pegg rides in on that horse(or was it a donkey?) with all the guns he collected from that NRA nut. I was not happy with all the gore and violence, though. Had it been less gorey, I would have rated it better.

Oh, I also laugh every time I see Pegg playing "recon" by jumping over the fences til he gets to the last one where there is a trampoline and he just ninja flips over the wall:P That is hilarious.
