2. The Trust Factor. Given Unconditionally or with Burden of Proof?????
TRUST: Firm reliance on the integrity, ability, or character of a person or thing. To have or place confidence in; depend on. That's the definition of trust straight from the American Heritage dictionary. How many of us truly and honestly trust. Most don't. Ladies, if you seen your man hugging to a beautiful woman that you don't know, would you assume the worst? Fellaz, if you seen pictures of your woman at her company party with a handsome man, would you feel betrayed. Answer to both, in most cases is yes. No one wants to feel that the person they are involved with might actually be interested in another. But where's the trust? Why involve yourself with someone that makes you feel suspicious with pretty much normal opposite sex interaction? My personal feeling is that we rush into relationships. We don't get to truly know the person before we are calling them our "wifey" "hubby" "boo" "shorty" etc. Get to know who you are dealing with. Talk about more than music and fashion. Find out where the person stand on issue that really matter. But honestly, IF YOU'RE GONNA SAY YOU TRUST, THEN TRUST. Give it full fledged. If you significant other leaves his/her phone on the dresser while in the shower, don't check. TRUST. Trust until given a solid reason to question that trust. And if you have a suspicion, bring it up in a non confrontational way. And this is where u decide if you want to trust the words of your partner. If he or she give an explanation, TRUST AND BELIEVE OR BREAK UP AND LEAVE. It makes no sense to stick around if in the back of your head you are now gonna be on your p's and q's about your "boo". The relationship now has a splint that prolly can't be mended. Without Trust you have NOTHING.
