Since when? This in my opinion is very sad and an unnecessary way of someone trying to set rules in order to gain respect. Who told you those names where disrespectful and degrading? What r u trying to hide? Are you ashamed of being spanish? I'm a Puerto Rican man. Since I could remember, all elders who gave a damn about me would call me "papi" or "papito" and my sister "mamita" or "mama". I in turn call my son "papi" or "papito". THESE R WORDS OF ENDEARMENT. We as hispanics are very passionate and loving people. So it's only natural that our language portrays that. I say pick a better fight to fight. How about being called a "hoe" or a "bitch". Or how about getting these girls with names like "Ilikeitruff" or "DoUEatPus" (you get the point) and ass shot all over the page then want dudes to come at you respectfully. YOU GET BACK WHAT YOU PUT OUT.
Stop being so touchy and sensitive. Learn to take things in stride and judge people after you've gotten enough evidence to convict. lol (a little play on words....nevermind). People and cultures go to war cause people are so sensitive.
