 Lola
Lola is a black and white standard female, and we're guessing her age at approximately 5-6 months. She was a bit older than the others when we got her, and she was a rescue, so she's still not as outwardly social as they are. It took us some time to convince her that we meant no harm when we took her out of the cage...she would sit frozen and tremble violently when we removed her from her cage. Now, however, she's much better, and actually begs for treats and play time just like the others do. She's much more delicately built than the others, and has gorgeous lines. Her personality is extremely sweet, and she gets along with anyone we place in her cage. Right now, she's bunking with LeighLew.

Lola surprised us with babies one day. We were giving the rats a bath, and all of a sudden, there were three babies! Imagine our surprise, as we hadn't even known she was pregnant, lol. The babies all survived and grew to be incredibly sweet rats...Indy was the only boy, and the one we kept. The two females went off to other homes. Lola was an amazing mother, and very loving. She was fierce at first...we had to be careful feeding her, lest she decide to take off a finger or two. Once the babies were old enough to explore the cage, however, she relaxed and let us play with them.
