 $700million bailout
The 700 million bailout didn't go through and I'm acually sort of glad. The stock markets dont run the whole economy. If the lenders go down, oh well. People will start new chains. I have faith that if B. Obama gets elected he can fix it. He may not have a lot of buisness experience like McCain, but you don't need that to run a country well.

Anyway, I've been busy so thats all I've really heard about. Bye ^_^

What I don't like about the bailout proposal is that it does nothing to stop the practices of giving out bad loans to people that can't afford them in the first place. It's purpose is to fix what has already happened but does nothing to stop more from being added. In fact the first proposal was to give 20% of the money returned to ACORN which caused the problem in the first place.

Not sure why you have so much confidence in Obama since he was the second largest receiver of kickback from Fanny May. His community organization which trained ACORN people on how to pressure banks to give out these bad loans was part of the cause. With the problems that we are going to have facing us in the next couple of years we need someone with as much business sense as we can get in the White House.
