| I just don't understand men...

Last night, I had a date. Just before I got ready to head out, I put my Yahoo messenger on busy (long hot steamy shower). And when I came back from my shower, the last guy I dated and who stood me up last Friday night (without a word from him since) sent an IM. Honestly, I really liked this guy. We have a lot in common and have buckets of chemistry. He was supposed to come over, but never showed. That didn't piss me off too much. What pissed me off the most was not hearing from him at all. No IM, no email, no phone call. I can understand that if you get tired and want to stay in. No biggie. I can't understand total silence. So I sent him an email on Sunday asking for an address to send something of his to and I just basically went silent.
So, I get this IM after I already set up a date with someone else. He had to leave, but said that he would explain it around 8. I told him that I was going out. I didn't tell him I was going on a date, but just going out to celelbrate the divorce. I let him stew. When I came home, there was another IM from him saying that he missed me...
Today after I came home from work, he sent another IM asking me how the date went. Yes, I lied. It really wasn't any of his business because of the way that he treated me. I really didn't consider us a couple after that. I told him that I went out with co-workers. We got to talking and I told him why I was upset with him. We haven't dated long, but have spent a lot of time online chatting. When we were dating, the chemistry was thick and I felt so comfortable with this guy.
So...I really like him. Bottom line, but I am not going to chase him. I told him that I would be back online an hour ago and he's got his busy icon up. So, it really sounds like I am going to go out by myself tonight and grab a bite.
Men are so confusing... |

Forget this guy. We are all fantastic, intelligent women on here! And none of us deserve to be treated like the take-away you have when a roast dinner isn't available.
Wait until you are treated like a roast and then commit.
Otherwise say one simple word out loud ..... NEXT!
