violent games
what is the problem
i am a gamer and as a gamer i like to stick up for games that the government are trying to ban, why are they getting banned?
because they are not suitable for children: i am a child at 11 years old and i play games that may be classed as not suitable for children, but the effects that are said to happen to me such as murdering or stealing a car because of a game do not happen. my parents allow me to play these games because they have taught me what is wrong and right ~ to do and not to do, this makes a big difference because if you know these things and you know the consequences you will not do these actions. as times are changing parents are changing, a lot of parents do not care how their children behave and the children are not taught these things which makes them think it is alright because a game did it or told them to. i think this is bad because the adults are meant to be the responsible ones. they are banning our games by lying and saying it is the games fault but they really need to think deeper and blame the parents. i am on both sides i am saying that not all parents are like this, some parents care and play video games themselves just like mine.
it is that and campaigners that are banning games, they want to ban games for everybody because they are too violent for children but then adults would only be able to play 12+ games. i mean that is what ratings are for, if all violent games were banned there would be no ratings. they go a bit overboard with the child safety but to be honest a child can play an 18+ game by playing at their friends or getting an older person to buy it for them. nobody can stop them from playing them .
