Well, She started school on Thursday!  Big First grader!  She looked absolutely adorable in her new school clothes, and I curled her hair.  She had to take a nap on the first day, but did it during recess time, so she didnt miss any class.  I had pre arranged with her teacher, school nurse, and office staff, that she may require a 30 minute rest if she was feeling too tired.  She also took a nap on Friday. She is exhausted when she gets home and sleeps for a few hours, but isn't complaining about her meds anymore.  She is done with the Keppra, so that is good news.  She hasn't had the hiccups in a few days either.  We have noticed a SLIGHT decrease in her seizures, but not what I would hope to see.   She is excited for school tomorrow, and has made a lot of new friends.  She chose hot lunch for the first 2 days of school (pizza and hot dog days), but is having cold lunch tomorrow.  I am excited to make her a special lunch and write her a special note on her napkin (I do that every time they have cold lunch).
