| Almost 2 months seizure free!
|
|
|
I am getting excited. The 10th of November is the 2 month mark for
Natalie. I cannot believe the changes in her over the past 2
months, she is an amazing kiddo! The new profile photo is of the
first day of school, which was on the 6th of September. She was
still seizing at that point, but she had shown improvement. She
is so sweet. She was the cutest Monkey for Halloween. She
is still doing great in school, and her appointment with the neuro last
night went great. She still gets the hiccups from time to time
and has some shakiness in her hands as side effects from her meds, but
we can live with those in exchange for not seizing every few
minutes!

nice to hear that things are working out for your ??daughter?? I used to have seizures myself. Since the age of 12 and up. I never used to take my pills so i would have seizure maybe once every three months if i was lucky to last that long. Since then the doc has hit me with all types of: "you cant drive alone, you will never be off the meds yada yada." You know how doctors are. Eventually I became more consistent with the pills (Depakotes)and its been about three years in february since my last one. I actually have little shaking moments myself still...I thought it was from the weed.
Do take care of your ??daughter?? and yourself as well.

My daughter (Natalie), is also on Depakote, as well as Zarontin. She was having many, many seizures every day, but hasn't had any since Sept. 10th.
