 OIL COMPANIES AND CAR COMPANIES

CAR COMPANIES
What do they have in common?  Over pricing!  First let's look at the car companies --the new cars they put out get's really bad gas milage, okay you think 25-30 mile per gallon is pretty good right  " WRONG."   If rail road companies can put out a train that can run over 497 miles off of one gallon of fuel, what make you think the car companies would call 25-30 miles per gallon? I call it  bad gas mileage . You think they would re-design a smaller engine that would get better mileage right?  So I believe that they are getting over on us regular people , What do you think? okay let do it like this, you buy a new car, how many times within  a week do you stop at the gas station?  Twice maybe or more?  How many miles did you really put on the car, maybe  200-250 or less. Now how much did you pay at the gas station "let see" if you have a 25 gallon tank you may have spend about $70.00 or more depending where you buy your gas ---now lets add that up for a month $280.00 for gas alone, not counting your car payment, not counting your insurance (I'll get to the insurance companies later)  So how much are you really paying ? This is why car companies are almost given cars away now. They are in bed with the oil companies.

Okay now it time for the OIL Companies:
Now have anyone seen the news about how the oil companies made billions of dollars last year in profit alone. And if you keep your eyes open on the oil companies,  they came out with this sick ass program about  why they needed so much profit and what they were doing with it ---"HAHA got me too on that one ."  Until I started to look back at the oil shortage in the 1970's and if you were not around back then, you may not have known about the long lines at the pump. Now remember that was why they build the Alasken Pike Line  so we would never be depended on other countries for fuel however have you ever ask what happen to it ,and were is all that Oil at now?  Prices would not have risien if this Oil was flowing from there because this was the reason for the pike line in the first place so we would not have to pay higher prices at the pumps.

Okay here we go to the heart of this, Now we are paying outragest prices at the pumps.  Keep your eyes on how much the Oil companies make next year in profit and this hurts everyone!  OPEC goes up on it's prices and why? AND it is not for what you think for we should have fuel reserve because some countries give OIl to us almost free. So why are prices getting out of hand ? Because the oil companies and car companies want more profit margin every year and this is why.  Have you ever wonder why these people get a six figure pay with bonuses, that rights , put it all together now, one word people it's call  GREED   and that all.  They will alway say they have the people interest at heart but do they really?  NO IT"S NOTHING MORE THAN GREED ---HOW MUCH PROFIT IS ENOUGH ?
just a thought!!  So let's review what do the OIL companies and Car companies have in common? GREED
you get an "A"

I like the fact that you are very consumer conscious with a sense of humor.

It always ends up being about money.
The majority of the world's business ventures do not care about human needs, they care about profit.
Sad really.

Make a "V" with you index finger and your middle finger. Now use them to point at your eyes then point them at the screen. Do this over and over 'cause I DEFINITELY agree with you. It's DISGUSTING the way they treat the consumer. And it's not 'cause we are stupid but that we can't seem to make a valid protest about it.
I would like to do a temporary boycott of gasoline, since the claim is always about supply and demand. I would love to see the reaction of the oil companies if EVERYONE in the U.S. took at least one day and found a way NOT to use their car, creating a 1-day lack of demand. It probably would not drive the price down but I bet it would make a strong statement.
Sad thing is that I would only be able to do it for for a very short time. I'm already carpooling for a hour drive round-trip to work and back. I couldn't be able to get to work without driving because we have a serious lack of public transportation around here. My bills would quickly force me back to the pumps. Complaining to the elected officials isn't working because most of them here are part of a family that operates taxi and livery companies.
I remember the long lines, just because gas had went up over a dollar. I'm originally from Chicago and I also remember the violence of people sticking up gas stations and owners shooting at driveoffs, police patrols and night guards at the pumps (resourceful people had found siphoning off the underground tanks possible). I don't know if or think that America is ready for that again.
I would like you to look at a blog that I had posted on business, customer service and the Golden Rule and ask for your opinion.
Thank you for your post. I'm glad that I am not alone in this discovery of unimaginable, unadulterated GREED.
