Its good you found a way to resolve it on your own. I know a lot of people that can't even make it that far. Everyone has some type or form of an addiction, we all just need to learn to control it. Don't let the addiction control us. I understand what you say about the job getting tiresome and not wanting to go to school because of the fatigue. I work about 30 hours a week and sometimes dread getting out of bed the next day...but i know i have to. Education is what is going to get me a better job then the one i am in now. same for you! and also let your friends in china be your motivation, an extra push to keep striving for your goal! I can relate, along with a lot of people around us. At my other college i switched my major twice (from international relations to sociology) and then when i came to CCSF i put down "undecided". and now that i am leaving San Francisco to go to LA i find myself taking a break from school to pursue my dream while im still young. It scares me though to know i will not be in school (my comfort zone). So no matter what major you decide on dont be afraid to let go and give it your all. Take classes, experience things, and find out what you truly desire. and dont be afraid to tell anyone. (posted in My goals (Blog #6))
I agree with you when you say addicition does not only pertain to a drug, but anything that takes you away from your daily habits, from friends and family. At keast you have pin pointed your problem now it is up to you to turn things around. You know how things will get if you continue down this route. It doesnt mean take your time away from you video game COMPLETELY, but just limit it a little bit. Equal out the time you spend with your fam and friends. and make them feel as special as this video game is to you...and everything will get better =) (posted in Blog 4)
