About Me
I am a mid 50 year-old wife/mother/grandmother living in Canada.   I have two miniature pinschers, Willy and Kandy.  I just love them.  They are so loving.

I am looking forward to blogging.  It is great therapy.  Writing has always been a passion of mine, so blogging should be fun.

Such despair! I feel you slipping into hopelessness. There is always a way to find that light to carry on. From friends, family, peers... and look within. I am moved to tears and reminded of my own blessings. I will pray for you. (posted in Fade to black.........)
You are right. There are many different types of friends. I have never needed or wanted many friends because it is so much work, almost like marriage. The one best friend relationship I had put over 22 years into ended when I retired and was no longer of any use to her. She became angry that I put my failing health ahead of her selfishness. We use to do everything together. When she turned her back on me I was hurt, angry, disillusioned and will never be the same. She broke my heart like no one else could and I will never give someone the chance to ever do that to me again. I will have acquaintances, not true friends. (posted in There are friends and then there are FRIENDS!)
I have to laugh at this moment in your life! I have been there, done that. I gave birth to my daughter at the age of 17, my first son at age 20 and my youngest son at age 23. Things got bigger (and better in some ways). After each delivery I went back down within weeks to my previous size. Being confident with yourself will give you a good life. Happy gestation!
