But here's a prayer. I just wrote this I really like it, duh, how about you?
Poetry is at it's best meditational reading so are prayers...
well enjoy it or not here it is:
Hey God good night,
It's me & I'm not swearing; I'd like to pray:
for the poor to be healthy, dry & fed;
for those too sick to stay to be comfortably on their way;
for every child to be safe in bed;
for those in wrongful bondage to be free;
for providence to enlighten everyone & me.
I'll keep working to be good.
Take me tonight if you will
but, I'll take painless if you would.
(I hope my bladder doesn't spill.)
Please bless my brothers & the soldiers too;
let peace be with both them & you;
AND maybe some for the Muslim & Jew?
We've done all we know, I think it's up to you.

Well I'm gonna try it out and see how it tastes for a few nights.
I hope someone likes it because...
I can almost smell the crap this will catch.
