| Day four |
So, today was my first real challenge... running around from 8 AM until 11 PM... and how did I do?
Well, it could be worse.
Foodwise- what I did eat was (I think) relatively healthy although I interpreted the BFL food philosophy very loosely. I am having a real problem with the fact that I can't have cheese. I don't need a lot but a sprinkling of feta cheese on a salad or a few shreds of cheddar on eggs makes the food edible to me. Quite frankly, being female, I do need calcium and if a few tablespoons of cheese are going to make the difference of doable or not, well then it seems worth it to me.
Exercise wise, I get a big fat F. I didn't work out today- I planned on going in the morning but hit the snooze too many times and didn't. I then planned on going in the afternoon and got sidetracked by a major storm that hit CT while I was on the road dropping off my mom. We were stuck in traffic for 3 hours... so there went my workout. By the time we got home it was about 9, I had dinner and am now going to bed. I plan to make up the exercise first thing in the morning and then do my cardio tomorrow evening- I figure 12 hours or so is kinda like if I did the workout now and did cardio first thing in the morning. And hey, a calorie is a calorie right?
Food Journal:
Meal One: 1/2 protein shake, 1/2 banana, Tbsp Peanut butter
Meal Two: Two eggs, a bit of cheddar cheese, 1/2 c oatmeal and 1/4c fruit water
Meal three: Salad with chicken and a tsp evoo, edamame, and half a multigrain roll seltzer water
Meal four: Shake
Meal five (and six): Miso soup and edamame (protein) and sushi (tekka maki, avocado sweet potato, eel and cucumber) (carbs and a little protein) and a slice of watermelon (carb)
