  What is the loudest sound you've heard?

Not sure I if I am posting this response in the correct place...but...the loudest sound I've heard was my first fireworks display. Scary and awesome and I was hooked!

I think the booming sound of thunder and lightning is probably the loudest sound I've heard.

The loudest sound I ever heard, I didn't hear it, I felt it.

It was a jet engine exploding in a test cell. The second loudest sound I ever felt was standing close to a tank as it was firing a round.

There was a really bad storm here the other night and it sounded like a giant chair being scraped across the sky. Intense.
