Hell to the no. If America was high all the time then peoples lives would suffer especially teens and young adults. Being high is like being drunk. People do it when they are stressed which is all the time. It's just as dangerous. We've been saying no to drugs and rising above the influence to get our young ones back on track to make better decisions for themselves. Why screw that up now?

Well, yeah. I would absolutely rather a pot bar than an alcohol bar.
Alocohol = lower inihibitions means I can do what I want because I can, machoism, and self righteousness,
Pot Bar = the guy or girl doing like what 30 in a 40, relaxed, not worried about the size of his go n a ds, and no drunken fighting, just lookin for a seven-eleven.
I've been clean from pot for fifteen years and long for the day when alcohol is illegal and pot is.

Yes. I think it would benefit our countries economy.
I don't think it would solve every problem, but I don't think it could be the worst thing to happen to the US. We have had worse. lol
I do however realize that their will be dumb asses who ruin the whole idea for everyone.
& if nothing else, at least do medicinal use only. It is good stuff!

Some people do use it for the right reasons.
& continue to be productive throughout their lives.
& being high off pot IS NOT EVEN CLOSE to being the same thing as being drunk. No comparison in that WHATSOEVER!!!
& I do not smoke because I am stressed, I do it because it keeps me on an even plain. I have a short temper and with marijuana, I don't get mad near as easy.. So I have a particular use for it.
People just always assume that people that smoke weed are druggies.
Not the case. Take the time to understand it's many advantages, it is then you develop a new Point of view on the Ganja!

As a lot of you have discerned from my blogs, profile, etc, I'm an old hippy. I'm totally for the legalization of grass. If one looks at the societal implications of other countries where it IS legal, one might find that the incidence of dwi is lessened and violent, drug related crimes are likewise lessened per capita. There is nothing wrong with firing a doobie and I agree with ElDuderino in that it does help to keep most of us on an even plane. Do a little research and you'll also find that legalization was shot down NOT by the doctors and the researchers, but more-so the government who couldn't tax it and profit from it! I can't personally 'partake' (or parTOKE) at the moment because I'm subject to spontaneous urinalysis due to flight training.... but if I could... damn skippy!

Decriminalize? No
Legalize? Yes
Laws cannot prevent it's use may as well capitalize on it instead of spending billions we don't have trying to prevent it's use.
Minimal research shows the pros far out weigh the cons.

Same as being drunk? How does one's brain process such thoughts?
