You hold back your emotions
You tread softly on uneven ground
You look for the answer
When there are too many
variables to to be found
Experience has taught you
to be wary of how much to give
because giving has taught you
that there is hurt at the end
of that journey that you live
Each journey has gifts
that you hold along the way
they stay with you forever
defining a new path
that will help you find your way
It is not so much the ending
but the journey that you take
and the things that you reflect on
to give up the control and fear
to round out your destiny stake
Wrap your heart around you
Know that where you are today
Was meant to make a brighter
future and choices each and every day
