I've never been a strong individual to journal on a routine basis. Yes, I think it is an excellent idea; however, to find the time to write your thoughts down is time consuming or at least that has been my attitude. Then, my mass media instructor assigned all students to start journaling using this website...thoughts.com. Great, now I was to actually share my personal thoughts with everyone else. Hmmm, wasn't comfortable with that idea at all.
Over the last few weeks, I've actually come to a different opinion. The experience has become an excellent lesson. Through journaling, an individual might find him/her self beginning to write personal goals and dreams down. It is an opportunity to document and stay in touch with your goals. Journaling brings out the desire to actualy reflect on your thoughts to possibly find solutions. The greatest benefit of journaling is to spark your personal creativity. You might look at it this way: Journaling helps to keep track of what is taking place in your head and is a nice reminder system.
