Roleplayers, nerds , geeks, read it, but dont weep
Hello Fellow Geeks,

I want to know how many people on here are fans of roleplaying, or gaming in general. I myself like to play games (morrowind, Heroes, Champions of norath, etc.) and I play DnD (and Magic:the gathering) too.

If you are a gamer, what kinds of games do you play?

Do you have a group that you play with on a regular basis?

If you play DnD, What version do you play? I play 3.5 because I refuse to buy 4th edition. There's no reason to buy a game you already own, right?

Anyway, cant wait to see your responces,

~MU

Wow. This is a very old blog entry, but I came across your forum post in Hobbies and had to speak. First off, I'm old. I played D&D when it was labeled Basic Dungeons and Dragons and came in a red box. (Expert was a blue box and Master was green.) Yes, that was before you were born, I told you I was old. I then stumbled across Advanced Dungeons & Dragons (now known as First Edition). I played that until Second Edition came out. There was a time in my life when I played that game literally at *least* six hours a day, seven days a week for about six months. Many days 10 hours or more. (I had a lot of time on my hands.) I sold all my material years ago, then bought the first three core rulebooks for third edition, thinking I might get back into playing, but it never happened. I learned a lot from this game, and quite honestly in the above-mentioned obssessive time frame it saved my life. Keep on playing!

Wow. I just saw that you were from Springfield. This is a very small world. I'm in Rogersville. :)
