Reality Check - Teens have and always will have sex, right or wrong. The best parents can do is raise their children in a loving and open environment and instruct them BY EXAMPLE in whatever moral and socially conscious lifestyle of their choosing.

Responsibility is the key as far as I see it. If you're ready to have sex then you better be ready to take resposibility for your actions. Either prevent a situation you don't want or be prepared to have a child. There are no other options. I know when I was a teen I sure wasn't ready to raise a child, either financially or emotionally. And the 20's are so much FUN!

Today teen agers are seen as children, 100 years ago they were ready to work and got married. 200 years ago they were 'small people' and were treated so sexually. So what is right or wrong?

I'm not going to preach but uncommitted teens should not have sex because today they are having sex with other children who just want to 'do it' and play at something new.

There is a differnece in sex as an adult, to have sex with someone you love, and not with someone else who is also experimenting and learning. The problem is that it seems most males have delayed maturity and become men close to 30yo.

If the teenagers are in love and believe that they will be together, then I think it's ok. But if your experimenting and just wanna get laid, then it's completely wrong.
I had sex for the 1st time 2 months before my 16th birthday to a guy who was 17 and I ended up getting pregnant.
Now I'm 23, he's 25, and our gorgeous son is 6 years old and going into the 1st grade. But we loved each other and used protection, didn't work obviously, but I wouldn't change anything.
As long as your mature and take responsibility, and are in love (not the fake "oh I love you" crap, but actual love) then it's okay to have sex.
